Hi!

Andi Bitay Substack expert Content Strategist

I am not one thing, but in everything I do, I'm drawn to the same question: what happens when you stop performing and start building something that's actually yours?

I'm a content strategist, Substack consultant, and creator. I've spent nearly two decades in media — from television editing rooms and magazine newsrooms to building brands from scratch in the creator economy.

I founded Ditch the Templates, a Substack publication on strategy and positioning for creators and writers, and grew it to a bestseller with 5000+ subscribers — writing in English as my second language, from a country most people in my industry couldn't find on a map.

I also created Still Becoming, a magazine for women over 40 who think deeply but don't live in their heads. It's about brave decisions, beautiful spaces, and the kind of life that starts when you stop trying to fit in.

Before all of this, I founded a city magazine, a fashion store, then built one of Hungary's first minimalist living platforms, which became the work I was most known for. I went from agencies and big brands to going solo, working with small businesses and entrepreneurs. Every chapter taught me the same thing: the best content comes from within. It has a point of view, and it builds the version of success that actually means something to you.

I call this philosophy Enough Business — building for sufficiency instead of endless scale. Creating work that sustains you, not drains you.

WHAT I DO

I build things at the intersection of content strategy, personal positioning, and editorial storytelling.

Substack Consulting

For creators and writers who want to grow on Substack with intention. I work on positioning, content strategy, visual identity, and the written elements that turn a publication into a brand. This is one-on-one strategic work.

Strategic Management

For creators who need an ongoing strategic partner — someone who thinks with them, not just executes for them. Content direction, editorial planning, and platform strategy as a long-term collaboration.

Ditch the Templates

My Substack publication on strategy and positioning for creators. Resources, honest takes, and the kind of advice that assumes you're smart enough to make your own decisions. Bestseller on Substack with 5000+ subscribers.

Still Becoming

A magazine for women over 40 about living well, making brave choices, and staying curious. Beautiful spaces, good food, real conversations, and the kind of content that respects your intelligence without taking itself too seriously.
